Starting Over ... Take 500

Being 100% honest here, this is my 500th time trying to lose weight. No lie...straight talk real deal. I have two addictions: Eating pizza and Procrastination! I need help and I can hire all the personal trainers and join all the hottest gyms and still I would not have reached my goal. I take full ownership of my habits. I insert pizza every chance that I get. I watch more television than I try to lift weights. When you are overweight, sometimes it's just easier to be lazy because we are comfortable living in the body that has protected us for so long.
Well that is changing starting now...I mean right NOW! See the last straw for me honestly was when I tried to walk up a flight of stairs and I couldn't breathe. Or was it when I was chasing after my son and realized that I couldn't keep up? Or maybe it was when I stalked a bunch of Instagram ladies and became obsessed with their bodies. (Real talk and I'm not the only one) Yes I have a real problem but I'm trying my best to overcome it. I've been living this way for too long and I know for a fact that I am not the only one.
With that said, I am starting over! But I'm not alone. There are many of us that have an obesity issue or are suffering from some type of addiction that we haven't been able to overcome. We have to start somewhere...take baby steps. I'm not saying to try and mimic a workout from a seasoned vet. Oh hell no. We have different body types and every exercise program doesn't work for everybody.
Keep in mind that water is our friend. Yes...say it again...water is our friend. Now I introduce you to Mahogany Fitness. A fitness blog for women...real women with real bodies that want to lose weight minus surgery - you know the good old fashioned way. We can do this. We have to because I can't keep living like this. My stomach is too big for this crap.
