For the first time EVER, Celebrity Big Brother aired last night. Fans all over were like, "What took soo long?" No matter because it aired and gave us fans that good old Summer feeling. Already folks think the show is rigged because Omarosa won safety for the first week. I happen to think it wasn't rigged but hey...Big Brother comes with controversy and Omarosa is going to give all of us a good dose of controversy. Let's recap this epic night:
First Impressions: (In other words, let's meet the cast while they are still playing nice)
Mark McGrath (musician): Remember him? Well to some he might be the new older version of the Ken doll but he's a legend in his own right. I absolutely loved watching him in his own element...with his family...it was a good look.
Brandi Glanville (TV personality and was once married to the "Third Watch" hottie): Basically she needs money....nuff said. (were you looking for more?)
Metta World Peace (former Lakers player): Dude, where have you been? He seems genuine and I'm looking forward to getting to know him better (via the television)
Ariadna Gutierrez aka Ms. Columbia (Pageant snafu): I guess she just wants to be noticed.
Ross Matthews (Talk Show Host): Honestly, he's not annoying. He has a bright personality.
Shannon Elizabeth (actress): I was about to write her off until we found out she was living in South Africa on a Mission to save animals in distress. Like I just want to give her a hug.
Chuck Liddell (MMA Fighter): Time out, did he say that HE put UFC on the map? Is that true? Fact Check please!!!
Rudy aka Keisha Knight Pulliam (actress): Love her...absolutely love her but I'm trying to figure out why she is on this show.
Marissa Jaret Winokur (Hairspray actress): Best moment was watching her tell her son she was going to be on the show and him trying to get out of going to school...LOL priceless.
James Maslow (Big Time Rush): He's cute, a thinker and strategist. In other words, he's going to be a problem for the house. He may have to come back and play with the regular folks. He and Paul would be a great duo. Friendship anyone? Put some respect on his name tho.
Omarosa Manigault (Celebrity Apprentice): And why not? Who's idea was it to put her in this house? Just fess up...CBS is being messy.
The game begins...
The contestants enter the house in two groups after being sequestered. They had no idea who was playing. The second group had Omarosa and the looks she got was almost priceless until they entered the house and Ross saw her! He wins for the Most Shocked Award! But lover her or hate her...she's good for this game. Plus it's only 3 weeks. Now it's time for the HOH competition. (For those that don't know it's the Head of Household.)
Before the competition began Julie announced the Sexy Celeb Not Appearing on the Block Award. The winner will be safe for the week but cannot compete in the HOH competition. Each player stands on a numbered star and Julie will reveal the secret card with a number on it. Whoever is standing on the number wins....Omarosa won. LOL
HOH Competition: Award Squeezin'
Synopsis: Wrap arms around HOH Award; if you fall off you are out. Simple right? Last one to hang wins. Winner was Shannon. But ... James gave her stiff competition and he came in second place. Pay attention to those that are good at physical competitions...pay very close attention.
As they left the backyard each player had to take a goodie bag. They couldn't open it yet but each bag contains important contents: swag or new power.
*New Power* is the power to recast HOH! In other words, overthrow the HOH and take over the role. Um...we need this power for the original game...seriously, do you know how destructive this could be????
Well this was an exciting first episode and on this three night premier anything can happen so expect the unexpected. Can the women maintain an all female alliance and kick the men out? You never know with Big Brother. Catch an all new episode this Friday.
Hope you enjoyed this recap. If you are not a fan...become one. It's great to watch people look ridiculous right? LOL It's all in fun and a great way to tie us over until the summer premier.
Until next time...
