Book of the Month: Higher Is Waiting

I hope you enjoyed last month's book by Comedian Tiffany Haddish. It took me a little longer to finish her book because I had to take a break from reading after Chapter 3. Tiffany is raw and honest...no filter. That's why I like her. She kept it 100% and to read what she has been through and is still currently going through...you can't help but to be glad it didn't happen to you. Seriously, after you finish this book loan it to a friend and go adopt a child or become a foster parent.

Now this month we are shifting gears. Pick up Tyler Perry's new book, Higher Is Waiting. I'm excited because, well let me say this, I was staring at my bookshelf because as I stated a while ago, I planned on reading 12 books this year. I'm already on book #3. As I was staring at my bookshelf I really wanted to read something else but this book spoke to me. (By the way, this past Christmas all I asked for was for books. I had a long list.)

So let's read together this month and share our thoughts weekly. In Higher Is Waiting, Tyler is sharing with us a collection of teachings on how he sustained his life in hard times, became centered in good times, and enriched his life and hopefully he will enrich our lives as well. I hope you enjoy this book because my spirit says that this one is right on time.
