DWTS Season 26: Athletes Edition

Are you ready? I'm not and I'm not sure I'm liking this. I have been watching Dancing With the Stars for 20 seasons. There were just some seasons I couldn't watch but it also depends on the cast as well. We have a new season and cast. Here they are: (no pictures of the cast because y'all really don't need to focus on that right now)

Tonya Harding w/Sasha Farber

She is a figure skater with a checkered past (i.e. scandal involving Nancy Kerrigan)...there is the movie I, Tonya which can tell you all about her. She's not gonna make it far in this competition. Why? People are not that forgiving and I'm not sure she will get a fair chance.

Adam Rippon w/Jenna Johnson

He is a Bronze medalist in the 2018 Winter Olympics and I think he will be a surprise contender. He is famous for something else but I really don't see why he needs to be labeled. So I'm not going to label him.

Mirai Nagasu w/Alan Bersten

She is the 1st U.S. woman figure skater to land the triple axel in an Olympic competition. Mark my words now, this is going to be the winner. She's accomplished what no one else could and she's partnered with Alan. If y'all don't know about Alan then understand this...he's amazing! She already won.

Jamie Anderson w/Artem Chigvintsev

She is a snowboarder and the only female to hold Olympic Gold in snowboarding slopestyle. She's basically kick ass. Not sure what to make of her yet. I need to see her moves, but if she's got them then she may be a problem for Mirai.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar w/Lindsay Arnold

NBA Legend at 7'2 tall and 70 years old. This is a set-up! I wish the casting agents would stop with this nonsense and the celebs need to learn how to either say no or roll with No-Men! Meaning, have people around you that will say NO. Remember Billy Dee Williams? Yea...that's why I'm saying NO! They are the FIRST to go. Lindsay needs to renegotiate her contract cause they playing with her time.

Arike Ogun Bowale w/Gleb Savchenko

Notre Dame's National Championship Hero. I have no idea on this one...very questionable.

Chris Mazdzer w/Whitney Carson

he is a Silver Medal Winner in the Men's Singles Luge. He may be a surprise contender but we won't know until he moves his body.

Jennie Finch Daigle w/Keo Motsepe

She is a former Pro Softball Player. Jennie, they set you up girl. Keo don't be winning this competition. (Yes, I am saying it just like that) This is clearly going to be a waste of your time.

Johnny Damon w/Emma Slater

He is a retired Professional Baseball Outfielder Player. I don't know...he's not gonna make it far. He went from the Red Sox to the Yankees. He just may have saved Tonya and could be the first one out. Look, I'm not a Red Sox fan but I totally understand the disrespect shown...Okay!

Josh Norman w/Sharna Burgess

He is the Washington Redskins Cornerback. His smile says it all. He's either gonna be the runner up or take the trophy either way, it's going to come down between him and Mirai. I already know that Sharna is not playing games this time...she's coming to win.

Now I said all this before I realized that this particular competition is only 4 weeks. Like huh? First of all it takes folks just about 4 weeks to get their feet wet. Really? 4 weeks? How does that work? Evan as I'm writing this i'm having a hard time digesting this mess. But I will be watching it.
