The first week is a wrap! It wasn't as bad as I thought. I enjoyed meeting the athletes. So here is a quick recap. (Double Eliminations each week)
Tonya Harding w/Sasha Farber
She made me cry. She said, "I was banned from skating in '94 but they didn't say I couldn't dance." Listen, my heart melted because I just felt she should be given nothing but chance...after chance...after chance. The dance was beautiful. I did say she could be eliminated first. Although she was in the bottom 3, she was safe.

Adam Rippon w/Jenna Johnson
I said he would be a surprise contender and I was right. I fell in love with him. Dammit! He may just win this. He and Jenna are the perfect match.
My Score: 10

Mirai Nagasu w/Alan Bersten
She was too cute. The entire routine was on point thanks to my future dance partner Alan. Fun fact: Mirai and Adam are Best Friends. With that said, this is going to be a very fun filled competition.

Jamie Anderson w/Artem Chigvintsev
The dance was very sweet but did not blow me away. It honestly could have been better. This couple made it to the bottom 3 and were eliminated.
My Score: 6

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar w/Lindsay Arnold
I want to be nice but I'm not going to. YOU HAVE TO DANCE!!!!!! He didn't dance. Lindsay covered it up by having other dancers on the floor. Bruno said he didn't over dance...um...cause he didn't dance at all!!!!! I was having flashbacks of Billy Dee Williams. Len said well done. Well done? I'm confused. Clearly we all weren't watching the same show. Seriously. Get this, he wasn't even in the bottom 3. I said this for years...years.... and I'm going to say it again...the show is rigged!!!!!!!!!!

Arike Ogun Bowale w/Gleb Savchenko
She won my heart. Very cute college woman who stayed true to herself and wore sneakers. She don't wear heels but leave it to Carrie Anne who said that she would like to see her in heels in the next round. Really???? Arike, you can wear whatever you want to boo. In fact, go barefoot. For real!!!!!!! I liked this dance. It was a very smart routine which was centered around basketball. My Score: 6
Total Judges Score: 20 out of 30
Chris Mazdzer w/Whitney Carson
He danced first and was enjoyable to watch. Not bad looking either. He shows promise to win. The routine itself was safe.
My Score: 7
Total Judges Score: 21 out of 30
Jennie Finch Daigle w/Keo Motsepe
I said she would be sorry because Keo never wins but I was surprised by this duo. The routine was nice and she's got some moves. The best part was that she included her kids and they added finesse to the routine. The comments she received were not great. They told her that she over danced. Where? It's like they pick and chose when to be ridiculous about the dancing. They praised Kareem who by the way is 7 feet tall vs his partner who is 5'4". Meanwhile Jennie and Keo actually complimented each other. Sometimes I really wonder if they take pills before the shows start or if this is all for show.
My Score: 7
Total Judges Score: 21
Johnny Damon w/Emma Slater
I'm not a psychic but I call it like I see it. He was light on his feet and the routine was good BUT I said it before....fans are unforgiving!!! Dude...you went from playing with the Red Sox to the Yankees. That doesn't make any sense. Period. So you know where I am going with this. Yes, he was in the bottom 3 and eliminated.
My Score: 7
Total Judges Score: 18
Josh Norman w/Sharna Burgess
He is a cutie! For real...I could see us dancing together. He couldn't of had a better partner than Sharna. Their dance was good however, I think I was expecting a little bit more. It's been proven time and time again that many of the fans that watch this show are football fans so you already know he's staying around for a while.
My Score: 7
