DWTS Season 26: Athletes Edition - Week 2

The second week was fun and included the group team dances of the season. Each athlete had to learn two dances and in such a short time. We were soo lucky to have a guest judge: Reigning champ: Rashad Jennings. (I’m crushing soo hard)

Tonya Harding w/Sasha Farber

She is totally fun to watch on a regular. I like seeing her outside of the scandalous world of ice skating.

Adam Rippon w/Jenna Johnson

Clearly he is going to win this competition. I thought it was his friend Mirai but Adam was born to dance.

Mirai Nagasu w/Alan Bersten

I absolutely adore her and she and Alan are good together. Their dance was super cute and she made a beautiful Cinderella.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar w/Lindsay Arnold

Their dance was clever, good, and enjoyable to watch but needed more movement. He was not built for this competition and really should not be a part of it. This couple made it to the bottom 3 and were eliminated. I’m soo grateful because I couldn’t take it anymore.

Arike Ogun Bowale w/Gleb Savchenko

For real she’s soo likeable but too stiff. And she wore heels. I think her stiffness was contributed by the fact that she was bullied into wearing heels. Ugh. Unfortunately, this couple made it to the bottom 3 and were eliminated.

Their dance was nice. They did make it to the bottom 3 but get to dance again. Good luck.

She wasn’t happy with the song selection and they switched up at the last minute. I say, stay true to yourself. I’m proud of her and she did phenomenal for a basic routine.

I keep expecting him to be cleaner but it’s okay. The dance was good and he has the best partner.

I really had no hope for this group and I wasn’t a fan of the choreography either. It would have been better without Kareem.
