DWTS Season 26: Athletes Edition - Week 3 Most Valuable Person

The third week was all about the dancers’ Most Valuable Person. This week also included Ballroom Battles. Also we have three eliminations to prepare us for the finale. This was a special week so let’s get into it. We also have a guest judge in the house: Runner up: David Ross and he was actually good at being a co-judge.

Tonya Harding w/Sasha Farber

They danced the Rumba and it was a beautiful tribute to her father. Her father was basically her rock throughout the skating scandal.

Adam Rippon w/Jenna Johnson

His mom is his MVP and the tribute was beautiful. They danced a contemporary piece.

Mirai Nagasu w/Alan Bersten

They danced the Quickstep in a tribute to her mother. I wasn’t excited about this number. She’s adorable but sometimes I think her personality may not go over with other people. And just like that, they landed in the bottom 3 and were eliminated. I pegged her to win this but I also said that Adam (without seeing him dance) could sneak up and win this.

Chris Mazdzer w/Whitney Carson

They danced the Foxtrot and it was very cute. His MVP was his mother who joined in the dance at the end. They landed in the bottom 3 and were eliminated.

Jennie Finch Daigle w/Keo Motsepe

They danced the Waltz in a tribute to her MVP, her husband. I wasn’t really impressed. It was lacking chemistry between her and her partner. They landed in the bottom 3 and were eliminated. My Score: 7

Josh Norman w/Sharna Burgess

They danced a Contemporary routine in a tribute to his MVP’s, his brothers. It was very nice. They are not my favorite couple but it was a good routine.
