Nutley Street Festival 2018

The Nutley Street Festival took place on Sunday, June 17th and was held along Franklin Avenue from 10 am to 5 pm. First of all it was HOT!!!!!!!!!!! As a mom, I had a blast and so did my son. He rode all the rides while I watched and took pictures. There were too many food trucks which is always a good thing because I love to eat!!!! It was amazing!!! The local Tae Kwon Do Dojo gave a demonstration which was awesome. I wish they had done that when I was a kid. I honestly think that the best way to have fun is to go to a local street festival. You get to see all the locals, listen to the local music scene and may even buy a bearded dragon. Well, I didn’t buy one but I could have. We even took a train ride around the High School and I got to show my son where I went to school and the Public Library. He even said that he wants to go to the same school I went to. How sweet was that? We spent our morning at the festival and spent our afternoon at the AMC Theater to watch Incredibles 2.

This movie is fantastic and I give it 5 stars!!! I can honestly say that it is way better than the first one. And well worth the wait.

This was a good way to end the weekend. Can't wait for the next street festival in Nutley!!!
